This is the second part of our discourse on the topic, “Beware Of Pastors Or Men Of God That Have Drifted Into Errors??? I hope you have read part one for a better understanding.
Please, if you have not read part one, GO HERE to read part one. In part one, we looked into some erroneous messages or teachings of one man of God, Dr. Abel Damina with a warning to be careful before his erroneous messages cause a shipwreck of your faith.
In this segment, we shall see more of his erroneous messages. Perhaps one of Dr. Abel Damina’s erroneous messages that could suggest that he has drifted into errors is his teaching that once saved will ever remain saved.
Please hear his utterances in a video captioned, “Sin Doesn’t Take A Man To Hell – The Believer Can Never Go To Hell No Matter What” by Dr. Abel Damina https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQ_D4bfaBYY
In the above video, Abel Damina was emphasizing Hebrew 13:5b where God promised us a pastor by saying, For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
However, Abel Damina is among those that claim the promises but ignore the conditions that must be fulfilled before the promise. Like Hebrew 5a where he quoted, which says, “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have”.
That is to say, God’s promise of never to leave you nor forsake you is on the condition that your conduct is without covetousness and as well as you are content with such things as you have.
Moreover, Hebrew 10:35-39 destroyed Abel Damina’s argument which says, “Cast not away, therefore, your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition, but of them, that believe in the saving of the soul.
The above verses stated clearly that, but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him after the verse 38 started by saying “cast not away, therefore, your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward”
It is ridiculous for Abel Damina to argue that a man that cast away, therefore, his confidence, a man who draws back unto perdition, that God will welcome him with open arms is a message from the pit of hell.
Also, Revelation 2:25-26 says, But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him, I will give power over the nations.
The promise of inheriting the kingdom is directed only to those who overcome and keep His works until the end. Jesus also confirmed it in Mathew 24:10-13, saying, And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many like Abel Damina is currently doing. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Another doctrinal blunder or erroneous teaching of Abel Damina is his teaching that “confession Of Sins Is Useless & Unbiblical” and “Why You Should Stop Confessing Your Sins In Your Daily Prayers!”
In essence, Abel Damina is out rightly contradicting Proverbs 28:13 which says, “He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy”.
Also, please look at what happened in Luke 11:1-3 which says, Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.”
So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.”
Invariably, Abel Damina is contradicting our Lord’s prayer because Christ clearly taught us, we should confess our sins “And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
The Apostle John the beloved equally stated in 1 John 1:8-9 saying, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”.
For Abel Damina to teach against what is in the Bible is a clear indication that he has drifted away from the truth, and his teachings are capable of derailing or making a shipwreck of your faith.
In addition, you will hear Abel Damina in this video clip saying that giving Money To Church Is Fraud. Invariably, Abel Damina just offered himself an instrument in the hand of the devil to destroy the church. The only remedy is that Jesus said in Matthew 16:18 saying, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it”.
The hypocrisy of Abel Damina is that he still calls and collects offerings in his church. Is offering collection not money being given to the church? Meaning that he is equally involved in fraud.
But what did the Bible say? The book of 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 says, But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
Also, the book of Luke 6:38 says, “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
What I am trying to point out is that the Bible is its own interpreter, we should stop where the Bible stopped, not adding nor subtracting. Also, we should believe the Bible implicitly above the word of any man, no matter how anointed or highly placed.
Equally, the Bible said, let God be true, but every man is a liar. No words of any man are superior to the Bible. Seek, therefore that God will grant you a discerning spirit. Shalom!
