This is the second post of the Faith series. In the first post, we discussed the question Jesus asked, saying “where is your faith? We equally saw in that post that some people claim to have faith, but their faith is like what Jesus referred to as little faith. Little faith is so weak that it cannot even lift a finger.
In this segment, we shall be discussing building a vibrant or aggressive faith for a turnaround and exploits in the kingdom. A man with vibrant and aggressive faith is like Jesus referred to as a man with great faith.
We can turn our faith from little faith to great or vibrant/aggressive faith, and this requires our personal responsibility and conscious efforts to build our faith to be vibrant or aggressive.
When our faith is built to be vibrant and aggressive, that could in turn bring about a turnaround breakthrough in our life and destiny. Remember the words of Jesus, “according to your faith be it unto you”.
I wish also to point out that some people, instead of questioning their lack of faith or they’re having little or weak faith, which results in their inability to realize their desires and expectations, rather turn round to blame some men of God and labeling them as fake.
It is said that faith is the answer to every problem of life, yet people are evading their personal responsibility to build their faith to ensure their turnaround in life and destiny.
To bring this home, please for every one of our desires and expectations to become reality in our lives, we must put our faith in action. But we cannot manifest the faith we don’t have.
For instance, we can see an example from the incident of what happened in Mathew 17:14-21. In that incident, the disciples tried to cast out a demon, but they could not cast the demon out. As a result, the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” NKJV
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you. NKJV
The incident above clearly shows that there are certain things that we may never be able to accomplish because of our unbelief. That means that for us to handle such things requires our having a vibrant and aggressive faith.
The said vibrant and aggressive faith does not come on a platter of gold. Like Jesus answered the disciples in Mathew 17:21 saying, “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting”
What Jesus said above gave us insight as to one of the ways of building our faith. One such way is through prayer and fasting.
As a believer, especially a man of God, you can never be able to manifest a vibrant and aggressive faith if you are not given to prayer and fasting.
It is unfortunate that some men of God, especially, are eating daily with their ten fingers and sleeping in their water bed yet expect to manifest vibrant and aggressive faith for exploits.
Obviously, it is only those so-called pastors that are not given to staying in God’s presence in prayer and fasting that end up engaging in $exual pleasures with their female members.
Moreover, it is through prayer and fasting that enables us to walk in the spirit while as the lack of it, we will be walking in the flesh. This can be seen in Galatians 5:16, “this I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh”.
Another way of building a vibrant and aggressive faith is by what Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”.
There are believers, even some men of God, that do not have time for the Bible. In fact, some people only remember their bible on Sunday while going to church.
It is an obvious fact; you can never manifest a vibrant and aggressive faith if you are not given to spending quality time to feed or study the bible.
Show me men of God creating wave today and I will show you men of God that are given to spending quality time especially their nighttime to soak themselves in studying the bible.
Vibrant and aggressive faith manifests in us given the level of the quality of the word of God inside us, while the devil has free hands in messing us up when we are empty of the word of God.
This is the end of part one; we will continue our discussion in part two. Shalom!
