This is the second part of our discussion of the topic “arresting the highway destiny robbers of our destiny”. I hope that you have read part one for a better understanding. If not, GO HERE to read part one.
In part one, we saw the pleasure of sin, especially $exual pleasure, as one of the highway robbers of our destiny. In this segment, therefore, we shall be looking at more highway robbers of our destiny that needed to be arrested if we are to fulfill our destiny.
The second highway robber of our destiny, we shall look at, is called offenses. Many people may not know that offenses are a highway robber of destiny, but Jesus Christ Himself in Mathew18:7 clearly stated saying, ” Woe unto the world because of offenses! For it must need to be that offenses come, but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh”!
The apostle Paul equally said in Act 24:16 saying, “And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.
In other words, in our society today, many people’s destinies had been crashed and pushed to the background because they are offended, either against God or against men. For some people, it is offenses against men or women of God that God had positioned over them.
Moreover, some people unknowingly get offended have offenses against their destiny helpers, by losing out because as a result of such offenses, they lost out in receiving help from their destiny helpers that God destined to help them.
It was for that purpose that Solomon warned us in the book of Proverbs 4:23 where he said, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life”. I strongly believe that one reason we should keep our heart, with all diligence, is to avoid offenses from springing in our hearts.
Even Jesus while on earth and knowing the implication of offense said in the book of Luke 7:23, saying, “And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me”.
Also, in Luke 17:1-2 Jesus told his disciples, saying, “It is impossible but that offense will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come”! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea than that he should offend one of these little ones.
In addition, He equally warned in Mark 9:42 saying, “And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea”.
In Mathew 16:23 Jesus once turned to Peter saying to Peter, “Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offense unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men”.
As said, many people, their destiny gets ruptured and crashed because they fail to realize that offenses are highway robbers that are out to rob them of their destiny.
Having said that, I wish to point out that the devil and his agent fully knew the implication of offenses and are using it to his advantage.
The book of Hosea12:13 which says, “and by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved”.
Also, God promised in Jeremiah 3:15 saying, “and I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding”.
So the devil tries to manipulate you into getting offended in men and women of God that God had positioned to serve as your destiny preservers.
Also, men and women of God that God positioned to feed you with knowledge and understanding, he manipulates you to get offended at them.
It is obvious, the ministry of any man or woman of God you are offended in will never be a blessing to you. The folly aspect of it is that the devil and his agents try to promote sorcerers who camouflage as pastors who inject you with spiritual poison.
At the same time, they conspire and launch unprecedented attacks on genuine men and women of God to despise them, having gotten offended at them.
That is to say, Some people allow the devil to manipulate them into allowing them to get offended against the prophet of God that God had set to cause their destiny to be preserved.
In practical terms, social media are full of agents of the devil, daughters of Jezebels, sons, and daughters of Belial, that are given to the reprobate mind, whose mission is to cause you to get offended against God and against God’s prophets.
What many believers fail to realize is that there is a great conspiracy against these men of God, these daughters of Jezebel try to seduce and sleep with these men of God, thereby draining them of God’s anointing on them.
But in which they were unable to succeed to seduce and drain their anointing, they will try to use blackmail by coming to social media to claim that the men of God slept with them.
I used to say to such allegations that it is a matter of who and what you choose to believe. These daughters of Jezebel always try to convince you to believe their allegation against these men of God.
Once you believe and accept such allegations as truth, you will surely get offended in such men of and women of God. I wish to say, therefore, if you get deceived by them, where is your sense of reasoning.
Apart from the actions of these daughters of Jezebel to drain the anointing of these men of God or try to rubbish the personality of these men of God, there is also the actions of men and women given to the reprobate mind.
You will such men and women by their unprecedented attack or campaign against these men and women of God who they label as fake men of God.
Please in conclusion, I wish to point out that apart from getting you to be offended in these men and women of God, they try to get you to join hands with them.
Proverbs 11:21 warned, saying that, “Though hand joins in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered”.
Talking about joining hands with them, the book of Proverbs16:5 equally warned, saying, “every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand joins in hand, he shall not be unpunished”.
Also, Proverbs 19:5 and 9 warned, saying that “a false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape. A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.
You are termed a false witness when you re-post or share false information shared in social media by these men and women given to the reprobate mind. Be warned. Shalom!
