Remember the topic, “To Fulfill Destiny, You Need to Pursue, Overtake as to Recover All” To Fulfill Destiny, You Need To Pursue, Overtake As To Recover All
Yes, many people after reading that topic really pursued and overtook their enemies but could not recover all from the enemy. The major reason was that they met a strong man.
In other words, many are far from fulfilling their destinies because they meet stiff oppositions from the strong man which they have to contend with.
In reality, many drew back and surrendered as they are not ready and willing to confront the strong man. Some even magnified the strong man like the 10 spies did in Numbers 13:31-33.
But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.”
And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature.
“There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants), and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”
If we are really going to recover all that the enemy had stolen from us, then we must possess the spirit of Caleb as demonstrated in Numbers 13: 30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”
Jesus himself gave us insight on how to deal with the strong man in Mark 3:27 “No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house”.
That is to say, all we need do is to bind the strong man. Of a truth, I am not saying or assuring you that it is easy to bind the strong man to overrun him as to recover all. This calls for good knowledge of spiritual warfare.
The starting point is to ensure that we have a personal relationship with God and as well as living right. That will make it easy for God to delight in us.
Once we are assured that God delights in us, then we can take our stand like Joshua and Caleb in Numbers 14:6-9 “But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes;
And they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land.”If the LORD delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’
“Only do not rebel against the LORD, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the LORD is with us. Do not fear them.”
Moreover, before we can confront and subdue the strong man, we must ensure that we use the right weapons. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 gave us the type of weapons “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
However, even though we are equipped with the right weapons, some are still scared to death to confront the strong man like Barak the son of Abinoam of judges 4.
I used to do a similar thing that Barak the son of Abinoam did in judges 4:3-9 “And the children of Israel cried out to the LORD; for Jabin had nine hundred chariots of iron, and for twenty years he harshly oppressed the children of Israel.( Jabin was a real strong man)
Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, was judging Israel at that time. And she would sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the mountains of Ephraim. And the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.
Then she sent and called for Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali, and said to him, “Has not the LORD God of Israel commanded, ‘Go and deploy troops at Mount Tabor; take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun;
And against you I will deploy Sisera, the commander of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude at the River Kishon; and I will deliver him into your hand’?” And Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go!”
So she said, “I will surely go with you; nevertheless there will be no glory for you in the journey you are taking, for the LORD will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.” Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh.
In other words, most a time, I learned not to confront the strong man alone but hide behind true prophets or prophetess of God in charge of Godly altars. In other words, I connect myself to prophets of God in charge of heavy-duty Godly altars of the Melchizedek order.
You may not understand what I am saying as it may be strange to you but I can’t help it as to make you understand. This is a mystery and as Luke 8:10 says, “And he said, unto you, it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand”.
In essence, all that I am saying is that if you feel that you cannot confront and subdue the strong man on your own, then ensure that you are connected or that you have the backing of a Godly altar.
Once you have the backing of a Godly altar, then you are truly ready to pursue, overtake and to recover all that the enemy has stolen from you irrespective of the strong man”. Until you hear from me again, remain blessed. Shalom.
