In creation, every man or woman on earth are created equal and adored with glorious or colorful destiny. However, while some ended up fulfilling their glorious destiny before they left this earth, others could not fulfill their destiny as their destiny were aborted, crashed or destroyed.
For the above reason, it is said that the richest place on the planet earth are the cemetery. This is because buried in the cemetery are men and women that died without fulfilling their glorious destiny.
Those who failed to fulfill their destiny in life; the major reason was because they allowed ignorance – the great enemy and robber of destiny to rob them of their glorious or colorful destiny. In other words, the first great enemy and robber of our destiny is IGNORANCE, SPIRITUAL IGNORANCE.
In this life, therefore, knowledge and understanding are indispensable if we are ever going to fulfill our destiny in life. This is because in this life, we rule and take command by what we know while at the same time we are limited in life by what we don’t know.
In other words, anywhere our knowledge ends, that is where our limitation in life begins. That is we are limited in life by ignorance – what we don’t know.
No wonder God lamented in Psalms 82:5 which says, “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
Also, God equally lamented in Hosea 4:6a which says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge and in Isaiah 5:13 which says, “Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
Since knowledge and understanding are indispensable in order to fulfill our destiny, King Solomon, the wisest king ever lived gave us an insight of the need to go for knowledge when he said in Proverbs 4:7, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding”.
King Solomon equally said in Proverbs 16:16, “How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
In other words, if we are ever going to fulfill our destiny, then we must consciously and permanently damage our ignorance in certain issues of life as we must consciously go for knowledge and understanding in such areas.
Also, the wise Solomon equally gave us insight into how this knowledge is gotten. We can see this in Proverbs 1:7 which says, “the fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction”.
However, the above passage said that the fear of God is only the beginning of knowledge and not the end. In other words, you cannot get knowledge automatically because you fear God; we must consciously go for it.
In other words, it is ignorance that makes men and women to work in darkness. Worst still are men and women who claim knowledge of what they don’t know while as they are walking in ignorance.
No wonder many academic professors, they are knowledgeable academically, but ignorance of certain other issues of life and thereby walking in darkness. To this end the Almighty God who knows the importance of knowledge to the fulfillment of our destiny said in Jeremiah 3:15 “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
While the above is the case, some people embraced the teachings of men of God that God has positioned to feed them with Spiritual knowledge and understanding and are flying high with such spiritual knowledge.
On the other hands, others, they hate men of God with perfect hatred and have nothing to do with them. That is the reason you see or hear very negative reactions or comments at the mention of some men of God.
Of a truth, it is most of these people that have no regard for men of God that mostly wallow in spiritual ignorance while they claim to know it all. The folly thing about it is that those walking in ignorance see and call those that are receiving true knowledge from men of God as foolish people.
Remember what happened in Israel as recorded in 2Chronicles 15:3 – 5 “Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.
But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them. And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.
However, and in another development, it is not what we know that transforms or changes our life, but true or right applications of what we know that transforms our life. That is to say, it is not the head knowledge you have that changes your life but a revelation or heart knowledge.
In other words, you have to consciously seek for spiritual knowledge and understanding if you are to fulfill your glorious and colorful destiny. Otherwise, your destiny could be aborted as long as you are spiritually ignorant and as it is academician that is academically sound that could impact academic knowledge on you.
In the same way, only those who are spiritually sound that could impact spiritual knowledge on you. It is unfortunate that some who are not spiritual at all claim to impact spiritual knowledge on others.
It is obvious, you cannot give out what you don’t have because according to 2Corintiansc3:6 said, “ Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life”
The end of part one—————–watch out for part two. Shalom
