If fulfillment of destiny, that is if success and breakthrough in this life are your desire, then you have to go for wisdom. Wisdom is so paramount that the scripture described it as the principal thing.
Proverbs 4:7 “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
It is unfortunate that a lot of folks today who are failures today didn’t know that one of the reasons for their failure is their lack of wisdom.
In other words, they lack knowledge of the basic principle of what it takes to succeed in life.
At times, when you observe the actions of some people, you will notice that the person lacked understanding. Most often, you begin to wonder whether the person can reason very well.
What is wisdom that we are talking about in the first place? In an everyday palace, wisdom is defined as the Right application of knowledge.
I also looked up for the meaning in Microsoft Encarta and it gave a similar definition like the definition above: “good sense: the ability to make sensible decisions and judgments based on personal knowledge and experience”
In other words, you can never show proof of wisdom if you lack personal knowledge. So you have to acquire knowledge and when you apply this knowledge correctly, you will then be said to have wisdom.
Few things Solomon in the bible said about wisdom:
Proverbs 8:11- 22 “For wisdom is better than rubies, And all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her. “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence And find out knowledge and discretion.
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength.
By me, kings reign, And rulers decree justice. By me princes rule and nobles, All the judges of the earth.
I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me. Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness.
My fruit is better than gold, yes than fine gold And my revenue than choice silver.
I traverse the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice, That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth,
That I may fill their treasuries. “The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old.
In summary, to fulfill our God’s plan and purpose for your life, to be able to fulfill your great destiny, then you need the wisdom to go about it. Seek to wisdom and GOD will grant you your heart desires.
