This is the second part of our discourse of the topic “Good knowledge and understanding of the mystery of tithe or tithing. Please, it is necessary that you read the part one first for a better understanding. GO HERE to read the part one.
In continuation of this topic, I wish to point out something that I failed to mention in part one, which every individual need to have at the back of his/her mind. That thing is the fact that every one of us pays tithe.
Yes, we all pay tithe, either to God or to Satan. People who refuse to pay their tithe to God, Satan collects more than the amount of tithe they suppose to pay using devourers.
In other words, people are indirectly or forcefully paying more to Satan what they ought to willingly pay to God without their knowing or realizing it.
As these articles are aimed at guiding you to gain good knowledge and understanding of the mystery of tithe or tithing, you should allow this to sink into your subconsciousness.
I wish to ask, are you better off because you are not paying your tithe while the people that are paying their tithes, have they reduced? Is it not folly that some are struggling to pay tithe out of one hundred thousand while others are paying millions as tithes?.
For instance, Bishop David Oyedepo pays tithe personally and never coarse anybody to pay tithe, rather he teaches his church members to prove God through tithing.
On the other hands, pastor Abel Damina does not believe in tithe or tithing. In fact, he teaches boldly that any church that asks members to pay tithe for blessing is a fraud – Abel Damina
Bishop David Oyedepo, because he believes in personal tithing. For that reason, he pays tithe personally and as well believe in corporate tithing as the Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel which he is presiding pays tithes to the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
For instance, in January 2011 the Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel paid a corporate tithe to the Redeemed Christian Church of God tithe amounted to about N1.5Billion.
That is to say, the Living Faith Church paid a corporate tithe of an amount far exceeding the annual income of Abel Damina’s one and only branch church or ministry.
Not only that, according to Bishop David Oyedepo, he said that,
“Winners Chapel Would Soon Be Paying Tithes Of Trillions”.
For avoidance of doubt, what you know determine what you believe which influences your actions. Because Pastor Abel Damina is ignorant of the mystery of tithing, he does not believe in tithing.
Please remember what I said in part one, that pastor Abel Damina does not believe in tithing and as well teaches against it does not make him a false pastor.
Rather, we should realize that what you know influences what you believe and your actions. For that reason, because pastor Abel Damina has inadequate knowledge of the mystery of tithing, therefore he does not believe in tithing.
In other words, he is still an anointed man of God, but he and those following him and his teachings about tithing are not enjoying the full dividend of tithing.
For you to gain good knowledge and understanding of the mystery of tithing, it is necessary to discard both teachings by ministers in favor or against and try to prove God yourself through tithing.
I assure you, it is when you proved or disproved God that you will be in position to decide to follow the teachings about tithe by Bishop David Oyedepo or pastor Abel Damina.
In fact, I was ashamed that a pastor of the caliber of pastor Abel Damina could boldly call God a fraud indirectly. That is exactly what Abel Damina is insinuating when he teaches boldly that any church that asks members to pay tithe for blessing is a fraud – Abel Damina
I said this because God said in Malachi 3:10 where He said, bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house,
And prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. AMP
Here God is saying that we should prove him if He will not open the windows of heaven for us and pour us out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. AMP
Abel Damina is insinuating that he had proved that God is a liar and does not open the windows of heaven for us nor pour out to us any blessing.
In Malachi 3:11, God equally promised to rebuke the devourer for our sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of our ground; neither shall our vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. KJV
Abel Damina is in actual sense trying to dispute that promise as if God is not faithful or powerful enough to rebuke the devourer for our sakes.
In summary, faithfully paying a tithe is proving to God that you believe Him to be faithful to make good his promise of opening the windows of heaven for us and pouring us out a blessing.
It is left for you to prove or disprove God really through paying tithe and not basing your faith and action on the opinion of any man of God, whether dead or alive. Shalom!
