A look at one of the pronouncement God made against women in Eden after the fall of man can be seen in Genesis 3:16b. In that verse, God pronouncement against the woman, saying, “your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”
It is for that reason that you see every average ladies desire and crave for marriage. In other words, the heart’s desire to marry or to have a husband is inbuilt in women. Women that are sincere to themselves will tell you that it is having men they can call their husbands what makes them fulfilled in life.
What do you think is responsible for some ladies advertising themselves for marriage or accepting to pay men who will accept to marry them. The reason is that no woman is fulfilled in life without a husband.
In my capacity as a marriage counselor, I observe that one of the greatest need or heart’s desire of ladies is what to do to get men interested in marrying them. It is for that reason that we shall be looking at one thing ladies lackest that made them still unmarried.
It is the greatest thing in the lives of ladies who had gotten married, and it is very hard for ladies who lack that one thing to get married.
Before we look at that one thing, it is necessary to point out that as a lady, your physic or facial beauty without one thing makes your beauty useless.
It is for that reason that you see some ladies who physically, if you look at them, they may look as ape yet because they possessed that two things, men are pestering them for marriage.
That is to say, some ladies you may judge to be ugly to look at, men are struggling to get married to them and some are happily married to befitting or wealthy men that some may be wondering what these men saw in them? Some may even accuse them of using love portion or juju to get such men.
It is not so my lady, they did not use any juju or love portion. Rather, it was that two things that yourself lackest that was on them that fetched them these wonderful husbands.
If it is your heart’s desire to get married, then pray that these two things thou lackest comes back upon you. Once that two things comes upon you, your problem will be how to make choice among men that will desire or be struggling to marry you.
The book of Esther in the Bible reveals to us that two things. From Bible history, we are told that Esther was an orphan, a village girl and a slave girl. Being a village girl, she doesn’t know how to apply make up.
However, without make up, because these two things were on her, she was selected to marry the king and as such became a queen to replace the deposed queen Vasthi.
Please read the background story in Esther 2: 1-end. However, where we will pick our anchor verses is from Esther 2:15 & 17. It says, Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed.
The verse 15b specifically said of Esther, “and Esther obtained favor in the sight of all them that looked upon her”.
And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
When a lady lacks these two things, even her beauty and everything about her will be despised. Her cat walk would even be annoying to men.
That is to say, the two massive apples she is carrying on her chest or the Kilimanjaro she is carrying at her back side will never be taken notice of or be despised if she lacks these two things.
However, a lady like Esther, that is in possession of these two things, even what may have disqualified her will never be considered at all. Like the case of Esther, she was an orphan, a village girl and equally a slave girl.
As a lady therefore that is still unmarried, whatever you may think that you possess, pray that you be clothed with grace and the oil of favor.
Please, one thing that is paramount that helps to amplify the grace and the oil of favor in the life of any lady is purity of heart and body. Like Esther, she was said to still be a virgin.
To this end, you cannot be living an immoral life or as a prostitute as a lady and expect God to cloth you with grace and the oil of favor. Are you sure that it is your lifestyle that made you to lack the grace and oil of favor?
A look at what happened in the book of Luke chapter one equally prove the impact of the grace and favor of God in the life of ladies. In Luke 1:28-30 which gave the story of angel’s visit to Mary, saying, and having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”
But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
Please, I wish that you take notice of the fact that it was said of Mary that she was a virgin. However, despite all other young ladies that were still virgin, it was the grace and favor of God that distinguished her from other ladies.
Finally, as a lady, stop praying to God for a husband, rather start praying that God should cloth you with grace and favor. Once grace and favor comes upon you, it will be your choice to make of the man to chose as a husband. Shalom!
