According to Jesus in Luke 6:45, here, he made a very crucial statement that is very true of mankind today. That verse of the scripture says, ‘A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.
You see, our actions and utterances are the result of what are in our heart that and who we are today is the result of our thoughts and actions yesterday and who we will be tomorrow is the result of our today’s thoughts and actions.
Having said that, I wish to refer us to one of the false teachings of the man called Sunday Adelaja in which he said that “only fools and the mediocre believe more in god than in themselves”
According to Jesus, our actions and utterances are determined by the state of our heart. I refereed to the statement of Jesus in connection to the statements of Dr. Sunday Adelaja as this demonstrates who DSA really is currently, and the state of his heart for him to say that, “only fools and the mediocre believe more in god than in themselves”
If an atheist had made such statements, it would had been more pardonable, but for a supposed man that call himself a man of God or pastor, to make such a statement shows that he is no more of God as he has fallen from grace.
The said Sunday Adelaja, it is unfortunate and obvious that many people knew little or nothing about his current person and the reasons for most of his false utterances.
Jesus clearly states that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. I am writing a rejoinder to the above false statement of Sunday Adelaja because many people may not realize the very harm the false teachings of Sunday Adelaja are doing to their spirit man,
This is because many people listening to his false teachings on YouTube and other social media platforms where his ministry is currently based may not have known the angle DSA was coming and speaking from.
As said, it is unfortunate that many people are still listening to DSA, thinking that they are listening to a pastor or man of God, not realizing that the current Sunday Adelaja is the opposite of Sunday Adelaja we used to know of yesteryear.
Please, I am sorry that I am focusing on the person of Sunday Adelaja because it is state of his person that determine the state of his utterance and ministry.
Please I wish to point out that the Bible is the standard for our living, so any man, no matter how highly placed or his status may be, any of his statement that contradict the bible such man is a false teacher.
So the teaching of Sunday Adelaja which captioned “only fools and the mediocre believe more in God than in themselves” is from the pit of hell that should never be given thought of.
It is my prayer and desire therefore that you’re reading this post, that God will use it to open your eyes so you will come to know the person of Sunday Adelaja and the very harm his false messages are doing to your spirit man.
To this end, it will enable you not be deceived or allow the devil to use him to inject spiritual poison to your spirit man through his false teachings. Spiritual poison can cause a shipwreck of your faith.
First, there is something I wish that you know about Dr. Sunday Adelaja and the reason for his many false doctrines and utterances. DSA, while as a student in Belarus University, used to serve as a Russian language interpreter for Bishop (Dr) Francis Wale Oke, any time he was in Russia on Evangelistic Outreach.
After his graduation, as there was no other job for him, he claimed that God called him into full-time ministry. In `1993 to be precise, he officially opened a church in Kiev, Ukraine even though he was still a novice as far as Christianity is concerned.
It is unfortunate that the said Rather he was only DSA did not bother or consider it necessary to attend a bible school before he dabbled into full-time ministry. For that reason, because he lacked in-dept knowledge of the gospel, he was not preaching the gospel messages.
Rather, DSA specialize in preaching motivational messages which at the time DSA started a full-time ministry was well-received or accepted by the Ukrainians who were struggling to breakthrough as a nation.It will interest you to know that DSA had no in-dept knowledge of the gospel when he started ministry as he was only preaching motivational messages but not the gospel messages.
Sunday Adelaja, who was blessed with eloquent speech plus his charisma made the motivational messages to pay off as within the shortest time, he was a toast to the Ukrainians as Sunday Adelaja claimed even to have made over 200 of Ukrainians billionaires.
As you are all aware of, there is no spiritual content or spiritual impact in the lives of his hearers. Because his messages have no spiritual impact, there was no person that ever got born again in his ministry, please prove me wrong.
As said, DSA’s motivational messages was widely accepted in Ukraine that before long, he was a toast and a household name in Kiev Ukrainians. However, one folly aspect about DSA was that he portrayed other ministers of God not preaching motivational messages as false or fake pastors and was seeing himself as the only true pastor.
That is to say, his attack on other ministers of God in Nigeria did not start only in Nigeria as it was attacking other ministers of God in Ukraine, portraying them as fake pastors as he was referring to Nigerian pastors as fake pastors.
Other ministers of the gospel in Ukraine endured DSA for a while, but his activities was destroying the true gospel in Ukraine as people were embracing motivational messages as if it was the true gospel.
For that reason, church leaders in Ukraine, on the 28th December 2008, nine leaders of evangelical churches in Ukraine signed a statement in which they, among other things, dissociate themselves from Sunday Adelaja and his activity.
They among other thing accused him of trying to create a cult of personality, and accuse him of using methods and activity based on self-advertisement, exaggeration of personal merits, teaching the doctrine of prosperity and the sin of love of money, and his practice of cursing the church members and parishioners who disagree with his opinion.
