The book of Romans 9:15 reported what God told Moses in Exodus, “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion”.
I was led to write articles on this topic after watching a video clip of DSA captioned “You Don’t Need To Pray For Favor Or Sow Seeds To Prosper” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pzft-QD8meM&t=440s (this teaching suggests that you don’t need God’s favor to prosper).
Considering the fact that life is not fair because it does not give us what we desire but only what we demand. Also the Bible says in 1 Samuel 2:9 “He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail”.
This means that the above teaching by DSA is false and satanic because it contradicts the Bible. There is no Christian on earth that can enjoy kingdom’s prosperity or achieve success in this kingdom on his or her own without the favor of God.
First of all, what is favor? Concise Oxford English Dictionary defined Favor as: (1) an act of giving somebody unfair preferential treatment. Secondly, it is also defined as an act of kindness beyond what is usual.
For instance, in the Bible Apostle Paul was a huge success by all standard yet he said in 1Corinthians 15:10 “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
In other words, we are what we are today by the grace and favor of God. When the oil of favor comes upon a man/woman, he or she will go beyond been blessed to be a blessing to others.
The obvious reason why you have been struggling despite your hard work and diligence is because you lack this oil of favor or that the level of God’s favor in you is limited.
When God’s Favor comes upon a man, it overrules his expertise and it is God’s favor that amplifies the little effort of a man clothed with the grace and favor of God.
Yes the skill and diligence of a man is good, but not adequate for a man that lacks the God’s favor. Next to salvation, I doubt if there is anything that can propel the hand of God on a man than this oil of favor.
It is highly unfortunate that while true men of God are teaching you how you can provoke this oil of favor to come upon you, DSA is teaching otherwise.
According to him, he said that favor will come upon you if you are diligent. This is false, because you in particular, are you not diligent? But why are you still struggling in life or why is everybody not prospering the same way?
If favor comes at us as a result of our being diligent and hard work, then academic professors would have been the wealthiest on earth. Yet in reality, there are many illiterate individuals that are far richer than professors because they are favored. There are even some illiterate people that employ the services of a professor.
When a man operates on a frequency of favor, even his mistakes will be celebrated. His life will be a mystery as men will never understand him. When this oil of Favor comes upon a man, it cancels his inadequacies and discouragement.
Another instance, why are some ladies who are considered ugly getting married while beautiful ones men are not looking their way? This is because when a lady lacks this oil of favor, her beauty is vain and irrelevant.
When a lady lacks this oil of favor, even her cat walk, will be irritating to men instead of attracting men. Her makeup will also be irritating to men. In fact, even her presence irritates men as they will hate her for no just cause.
I want us to further look at what the Bible said about this oil of favor to prove to you that DSA teachings are false and satanic:
In the Bible history, one of the most successful individual recorded was Joseph. The book of Genesis 39:21 says “But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison”.
Obviously, it was the same God’s favor that catapulted Joseph from being a prisoner to the position of prime minister. If it was not God’s favor what is it that could elevate a slave boy, foreigner to the position of prime minister?
I said this because if it was only his diligence, then I will tell you that there are many Egyptians that were more diligent than him in Egypt that time.
Also, when God called Moses, He promised Moses that when they will be leaving Egypt, that He will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians.
Please see Exodus 3:21 “And I will give these people favor in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty”
In Exodus 12:36, God fulfilled that promise as that verse says, “And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
The man of God Samuel, was he successful as a man of God? Yes, he was, the book of 1 Samuel 2:26 gave us insight why he was successful, “and the child Samuel grew on, and was in favor both with the LORD, and also with men”.
As a lady, the story of Esther shows why you are still single despite that you are endowed with beauty to behold and as well as being diligent. The major reason why you are still single is because you lack the oil of favor of God.
As said earlier, some other ladies who are considered ugly are getting married before you; the reason is that they are clothed with the oil of God’s favor.
The book of Esther 2:15 Now when the turn came for Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his daughter, to go in to the king, she requested nothing but what Hegai the king’s eunuch, the custodian of the women, advised. And Esther obtained favor in the sight of all who saw her.
So Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus, into his royal palace, in the tenth month, which is the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.
The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.
As a lady, I wish to repeat, the major reason why you are still single is because you lack this oil of God’s favor. To this end, you should desire and pray for the release of the oil of God’s favor.
If God answers your prayer and this oil of favor comes upon you, I guarantee you double assurance. When this oil comes upon you, the problem that will follow will be how to make the correct choice of men who will come for your hands in marriage. These men will all struggle to be the person to win your hands in marriage.
My dear, seek to be clothed with the oil of God’s favor and your story in life will have a positive change or turn around as you will be flying to a higher or greater glory. On the other hands, you could struggle and die in frustration if you lack the oil of favor by going on with what DSA is teaching.
