This is the second part of our discussion of the topic, The Bitter Lessons To Learn From The Death Of Ada Jesus. I hope that you have read part one for a better understanding, as this is the continuation of part one. Please GO HERE to read part one.
In this life, there is what is called the law of cause and effect, but regarding the case of late Ada Jesus, prophet Odumeje, some of us choose to ignore the cause or what Ada Jesus did that lead to the man of God prophet Odumeje to make such dangerous utterances against her and saying that he would never forgive her.
It is unfortunate that we are all quick to condemn Odumeje for saying that he would never forgive her. But we failed to address what Ada Jesus did. Where we are all wrong is that true forgiveness comes after the offender feels remorseful about what he/she did and personally asks for forgiveness.
Some people who are all blaming the man of God for refusing to forgive her or pray for her healing failed to take into consideration that Ada Jesus never for one day personally asks for forgiveness or feels remorseful. It was only her people that were pleading on her behalf.
Please think of it, Ada Jesus accused Odumeje of performing fake healing and stage managing miracles for other people but we expected Odumeje to perform real or genuine healing miracles for her. Even at the same time, she was still insisting that her allegation was true, refusing to retract her allegations or take down or delete the videos. The videos were taken down after her death.
Those condemning Odumeje are simply saying that Odumeje should accept that what Ada Jesus said about him was true, even though those allegations were aimed by the devil at destroying prophet Odumeje’s ministry.
In other words, people were condemning Odumeje but failed to talk about Ada Jesus refusing to delete the viral videos, where she made the allegations or making another video to retract the earlier videos?
Ada Jesus did none of these, as the videos where she made the allegations were still trending online up to her death as she was insisting that the allegation was true. The videos were taken down after her death.
Assuming that nothing had happened to Ada Jesus, but the ministry of Odumeje got folded up, people would have hailed Ada Jesus as people would have attributed the folding of Odumeje’s church to the so-called exposure by the late Ada Jesus.
Please this is a spiritual law, and I wish that we get this fact clear, Ada Jesus, what if her allegation was false? It means that she had blasphemed against the Holy Spirit, which lead to God’s judgment against her.
The majority of people failed to acknowledge the fact that this matter was no longer in the hands of Pastor Odumeje as it had gone beyond him. In other words, people who were expecting Odumeje to pray and heal her were wrong.
The case of Ada Jesus was far beyond Odumeje as he was never in a position to forgive sin or heal her. In addition, Ada Jesus alleged that Odumeje was performing fake miracles of healing for people, yet the people of Ada Jesus want prophet Odumeje to perform real and genuine miracle healing for her.
I wish to ask, what was the actual crime Odumeje committed against her? This question calls for reflection because the devil planned to use Ada Jesus to destroy Odumeje’s ministry, the ministry he had spent years and labor to build.
So prophet Odumeje’s crime was his refusal to allow his church or ministry to be destroyed by Ada Jesus? Moreover, some are blaming poor medical facilities in Nigeria as the cause of her death, forgetting that if her case was spiritual, then no medical science could have handled it.
I said this because what if her case was the judgment of God on her? That means that no other man or woman of God would have been able to help her, not even Odumeje. Himself.
One issue where lots of us were wrong was the call for Odumeje to forgive Ada Jesus, yet Ada Jesus refused to repent or show remorse or personally as for forgiveness. If she was remorseful, she would have gone ahead to take down the videos where she made the false allegations.
I wish to ask, assuming that the case of Ada Jesus as a result of God’s judgment on her, do you think that she would have received God’s healing without her remorseful and deep repentance? What she needed to have done was sincere and very deep repentance, asking God for forgiveness.
One mistake a greater number of people are making is that they refuse to acknowledge the fact the Ada Jesus had never accepted that her allegation was false. She still allows the video to be on YouTube, the videos were taken down after her death.
If she had truly repented and been remorseful, she would have deleted the videos where she made the allegation, or secondly, she would have made new videos to cancel her earlier videos and as well personally apologize to Odumeje in addition to her people.
It is a mistake for people to blame prophet Odumeje for refusing to forgive her, yet they failed to ask Ada Jesus to delete the videos if she cannot make new ones to cancel her allegations.
Rather, Ada Jesus who did something had not acknowledged that what she did was wrong nor personally ask for forgiveness. It was her people that was carrying her about and asking for forgiveness on her behalf
The truth of the matter is that she refused to accept that her allegations were wrong, and she risked her life by refusing to delete such videos or making corrections.
What I am saying is that when she realized that the allegations in the video were the cause of her calamity, she would have quickly deleted the videos. But she failed to do that, which is a sign that she had no remorse about her action allegations for that videos to still be online.
Another thing was that all this while, it was her people and others that were begging on her behalf for Odumeje to forgive her while as she never personally opened her mouth and asked for forgiveness.
Please, we should put sentiment aside and face the reality. I know this God, if Ada Jesus had shown deep repentance and as well as shown remorse, God would have visited Odumeje and instructed him to look for her to pray for her healing and deliverance.
Remember the case of Saul in Acts 9:11, so the Lord said to Ananias, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying”.
Verse 17 of Acts 9 says, And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
As seen in verse 18, after Ananias prayed for him, immediately there fell from his eyes, something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.
In another development, assuming Odumeje had gone to her, Nigerians would have termed it that Odumeje had gone to beg her and not the other way round.
That is to say, people who were clamoring that Odumeje should forgive her forgot one thing that Odumeje’s forgiveness was meanness without her deep repentance and her acceptance that she made a very false allegation.
It was like Stephanie Otobo and Apostle Johnson Suleiman’s issues. When Stephanie Otobo sensed that God’s judgment would have come upon her, she quickly ran to ask for forgiveness from Suleiman.
As said, if she was truly remorseful, which she was not, what she would have done was to make a new video to cancel the earlier video where she made that allegation. Ada Jesus failed to do that yet people were calling on Odumeje to forgive her.
Odumeje forgiving her while that video is still trending was to accept that the allegations of stage managing miracle. Please, we should not use sentiment to judge if we are to make the right judgment. Shalom!
