When it comes to the issue of tithe or tithing, some Christians, by reason of the negative mindset they have, they block new information from entering into their subconsciousness. As long as the information in your subconscious mind is false, you will continue to believe and act on them as the truth.
The controversies that surrounded the issue of tithe or tithing are caused mostly by some men of God who interpreted the scriptures about tithe differently. These great men of God, some interpreted the bible to favor payment of tithe while others vehemently oppose it.
It is you who determine which of the school of thought to believe. Those who believe those in favor are happily paying their tithe while those who believed those against tithe payment have rescinded in paying tithe.

I was once a victim of not paying my tithe before not until a pastor helped me to understand the issue of tithe as I am trying to make you understand. The pastor proved to me that it was a wrong assumption for any born-again Christian to claim that he or she is not paying tithe.
According to that pastor, we are all paying tithe but it depends on who is receiving our tithe, either God or Satan. The devil uses various names to collect his own as he never calls them tithe and most a time the amount he collects is more than 10%.
The book of Malachi 3:10 is the scripture that most men of God base their teaching and they emphasize Malachi 3:10a so much, it says “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house”.
Because of the emphasis, they placed on this verse and how they coarse members to pay tithe, their member pays tithe with great burden instead of paying with joy in their heart.
It is not supposed to be so, the pastor who taught me about tithe built a strong faith in me about how to believe and trust God to do his own part. He pointed out what the above verse said but placed much emphasis on the promise of God that He will open to me the windows of heaven, and pour me out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
In reality, many Christians are battling with the devourers who are ravaging them because they failed to pay their tithe to God. God promised that he will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
Many, by refusing to pay their tithe and God equally failed to rebuke the devourer for their sake. Some of the unimaginable expenses or expenditures that come your way may be the work of devourer at work. Most a time, these devourers collect more than 3times the amount you suppose to have paid as your tithe.
All I am trying to let you understand is that tithe is a spiritual matter, if you fail to pay them to God; surely the devil will collect it, even more than the amount of the tithe. In other words, you have been ignorantly paying your tithe to Satan. So don’t think that you are not paying tithe.
Moreover, some who think they are paying tithe to God are doing so with the wrong motive. Some are not paying their correct tithe while others are paying to impress their pastors. Once you are not paying your tithe correctly and with correct heart, you may end up not reaping the blessings God promised.
In addition, some unbelievers are paying tithe but are not seeing the effect of tithe they are paying. The reason is that it is their heart that God needs first not their money. So if you wish to enjoy the full benefits of tithing, ensure that you have given God your heart before your money is acceptable to God.
So many Christians, what is wrong with them is that apart from suffering under the works of devourers and as well as operating under closed heaven, they are also operating under the curse of God.
The book of Psalms 1:1-5 says “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law doth he meditates day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
The opposite of blessed is cursed. So many Christians who are not paying their tithe or stopped paying tithe to God because an ungodly man, Daddy Freeze convinced them not to, did not know what they have done to themselves. How they unknowingly attracted the curse of God on themselves for walking in the counsel of the ungodly.
I am so dumbfounded that some born-again Christians prefer heeding the words of Daddy Freeze more than they give heed to anointed men of God. My final word is that you should realize that you are the person that stands to benefit from paying your tithe to God.
But if you feel smart that you don’t want to pay your tithe, the devil collects the tithe through the back door with an additional knock on your head. Don’t think you are not paying tithe, you are doing so but it is the devil that was collecting them through unnecessary expenditures.
