This is the second part and the continuation of our discourse on this subject matter of the existence of spirit husband/wife or otherwise. I hope you have read part one for an easy understanding of this part two?
If you have not, GO HERE to read part one. In part one, we discussed at length the opinions of some men of God, some believed in the existence and reality of the spirit husband or wife while others said it is nothing but a trick and nonsense.
But why is it hard for people to believe in the spirit husband/wife? The answer is that, as I said in part one, the issue of spirit husband/wife is a spiritual matter or mystery.
Being a spiritual matter, it is then utter foolishness trying to understand or interpret it with our carnal mind’s knowledge or understanding.
As I said, a man/woman of GOD who is gifted in deliverance will never have a problem understanding this mystery, while others are wallowing in utter ignorance about this mystery.
Also, as I pointed out in part one; it is foolishness to dismiss a mystery you don’t understand with a wave of the hand, simply because you don’t understand, saying that the issue does not exist.
WHY I BELIEVE THAT SPIRIT HUSBAND OR WIFE IS A REALITY!
Often, I laugh at people exhibiting their ignorance when they are making blind arguments concerning issues they don’t understand. The portion of the bible that prospects of spirit husband/wife use to cite in defense of their argument is Genesis 6:1-4
“Now it came to pass when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful, and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose”.
Verses 3 & 4 “And the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.
” There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came into the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
Looking at the above verses, “who are the sons of GOD”? From all indications, they are not men with flesh and blood, but they are spirit beings.
These spirit beings, there is no way they could have come into the daughters of men in their physical form. But since they need a body, that is why they take possession of the body of men/women to carry out their activities.
Another thing to point out here is the interpretation of the phrase of what was said in verse 2, “That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose”.
That is to say, men and women have no hand in the choice, as it is the spirit that chooses men or women that they wish to use their bodies. So men and women are simply their hosts.
Moreover, I didn’t believe in the reality of spirit husband/wife because one man or woman of God said so. I have personally participated in the deliverance as well as watched the deliverance ministrations of some men/women.
During the deliverance of such men/women, the spirit in such men/women that are delivered spoke through those being delivered, claiming that the men/women are their husband or wife.
Whatever name you may call it or not, it is a demon spirit so when a spirit in a man is speaking, laying claim that the man is her husband or speaking through the mouth of a woman laying claim that the woman is her wife, what do you call such a spirit?.
To deny that the spirit husband/wife does not exist is to deny that the demonic spirit does not exist. On the issue of this mystery, the late Apostle Oguguo Ikejihovah of Jesus’ Power. Liberation Gospel Global Ministry (JEPLIGGOM) used to say, “most of the time, we know what we are doing, but what causes us to do those things we don’t know”.
While many are busy arguing about the issue or the mystery of the spirit husband or wife, the spirits are busy doing havoc in many lives and marriages. According to Joshua Iginla, “spirit husbands or wives most of a time are more jealousy than physical men/women”.
There are many things that do happen that you really need to use spiritual eyes to see that a spirit husband or wife is in operation. Take, for instance, there was a lady I know, three men on different occasions who wanted to marry her all died mysteriously.
As a result, men started to avoid or run away from her, not until one brother who today is marrying her showed up. The brother the day he proposed marriage to her, invited her to a program and in that program, he arranged for a deliverance minister who ministered deliverance to her and casts that spirit husband out of her.
Also, I know a brother; the day he was going for an introduction to his in-law to be, a new vehicle he bought that is not up to a month locked engine on his way. The brother abandoned the vehicle and charted a vehicle to convey him. Do you know that the vehicle he charted had a flat tire two times before he got to his destination?
That night after the program, a man came to him in a dream to warn him to leave or stay away or clear from his wife and slapped him. The brother woke the next morning with a swollen cheek.
Because I understood better, I encouraged the man not to abandon the lady, but take her for deliverance if he is to enjoy his marriage with the sister, as I suspect a spirit husband that is in operation.
There are many incidents that for want of space that will not allow me to post them here. It is a high time you seek an understanding of this mystery, so that you don’t fall victim yourself to the mysterious activities of the spirit husband/wife. Don’t die in ignorance. Shalom!.
